THE PROJECT
Premiering in summer 2026/2027, Western Port Down Under is a cinematic odyssey from the award-winning team behind Melbourne Down Under (Network Ten). This landmark feature documentary will unveil the breathtaking diversity of Western Port’s marine environment using state of the art science and technology including never before seen behaviours and new species.
But this is more than a documentary.
Western Port Down Under is the centrepiece of a powerful social impact movement and call to action, one that combines science, storytelling, and strategy to drive real-world impact. From classrooms to boardrooms to beaches, we’re creating legacy content to educate, engage, and empower the next generation of ocean advocates while reminding us that the health of these ecosystems is intricately intertwined with our own.
The campaign includes; a free schools program, a tourism discovery trail across key sites, a community screening roadshow and an interactive online education and advocacy portal that is packed with resources including a free media library to unify messaging and support local conservation.
